Our Story
Station Diner is located on the main beach in Holyrood, overlooking Holyrood’s beautiful squid jigging grounds and Marina. The building was built in 2013 and sits on the old railway bed (now Board Walk). The building itself is a replica of the Railway Station that once sat on the land where the Marine Institute now calls home. Once a bustling station for both passengers and supplies alike, the Station and Railway once played an important role in the lives of many people in the area. When you visit Station Diner you can view many treasures donated by area residents as well as CN Pensioners. Our walls are littered with photos and artifacts of “days gone by” and you can imagine the that “use to be”.
While our menus are not all reminiscent of those from the days of the Railway, you will surly find something to satisfy your palate at Station Diner. Our home cooked meals and fresh baked goods with local flare are what our guests appreciate the most! “Come for the food. Stay for the view”. We can’t wait to meet you.
